Rockharbor Church has been an amazing place to attend church over the past 7 years I’ve lived here in the OC. I have been blessed with amazing teaching, powerful worship, and great friendships over the years. Some of my best friends were forged here at Rockharbor, including two guys I started an accountability group 5+ years ago with Brian R. and Brian J., who showed me authentic community and helped bring a ton of healing in my life. Eric Wayman is another bro I’ve developed a great friendship with and I’m so thankful for all the time he’s spent with me and the way he’s sharpened me. I have been able to do life with some other friends who are dear to my heart, including Paul Cater, Travis Coburn, Leigh Meade, Aaron Flores.
I’m so thankful for the many pastors at Rockharbor - Mike Erre, Todd Proctor, Doug Berry, Mike Kenyon, Mark Howerton, Pete Shambrook, and Roger Tirabassi - who have been great models for me and have always made themselves available to provide great wisdom to me. Some other men who have invested so much in my life, include Tim Palmquist, Steve Bender, Steve Garrison, and Andrew DelRay.

ROCKHARBOR is a community of people learning together to worship Jesus Christ with our lives. We love God—celebrating Him, serving Him, and reaching out to share His love with others. Our doors are open to all. Each person adds something valuable to who we are. We are not a building or a name. We are a community where people can hear God’s truth, experience His love and grace, and respond to Him with freedom.

Over the last 4 years, I have been a part of a community at Rockharbor called a Life Group. To see posts and pictures directly related to this, check out the following link:
This has been a time of great stretching as I’ve learned to lead in my own brokenness and failings. While I haven’t always done this well, I can truly say that this community has brought me through some of the most intense loneliness I’ve ever experienced over the past couple years. I have learned to laugh more, love more, pray more, care more, and depend on God more.
I thank God for my life group and the way they have each shaped my life as ministers to me.
